Judy Delaney (nee Butler)
September 22, 1944 to July 30, 2022
Passed peacefully away at home surrounded by her loving family, Judy Delaney, aged 77 years.
Predeceased by her devoted husband of 54 years, George; parents, William and Annie Mae Butler, in-laws, Edward and Ruby Delaney, brother, Clayton, and sisters Velma and Patsy.
Left heartbroken with precious memories are her children; Clayton (Chris), Dawn (Charles), Dolores (Dave), Cory (Tonia), Dana (Adam); grandchildren; Zane, Brianna, Joshua, Kai, Sabrina, Chaz, Solange, Ethan, Noah, Annie Rose, Daniel, Seth; great-granddaughter, Nanny’s Flower Julia; sister Louise Batten and numerous in-laws, nieces and nephews.
Judy opened her door to all and offered anything she had. If you needed it, she probably had it to share. She was blessed with deep friendships. So many, that it’s hard to name everyone. Special thanks to Ruth, Hattie, Winnie, Christine, Annie, Nancy and Peg for their help over the past few months. A special thank you to all the nurses, doctors and staff who helped Mom along the way.
Visitation at Hickey’s Funeral Home for Judy and George (April 22, 2020) will be held on August 1, 2022 from 2 – 8 pm. Masks are required. Interment will be held August 2, 2022 at the Anglican Cemetery, Church Road at 2:00 PM. To send a message of condolence, please visit www.hickeysfuneralhome.com
