Norman, Irene Dorothy (Nee Clarke) – Passed peacefully away after a brief battle with cancer at the St. Clare`s Mercy Hospital on Sunday, January 14th, 2024 at 72 years of age. Irene was predeceased by her father Ernest Clarke (September 1970); her mother Catherine Clarke (Nee Foley) (August 1979); her brother Clarence Clarke (October 1986); her nephew Scott Thorne (February 2005); her sister Marjorie Lawlor (Nee Clarke) (August 2005); her brother Dennis (April 2007); her nephew Corey Lawlor (November 2009); her brother Nelson Clarke (October 2020) and her sister Joan Thorne (Nee Clarke) (June 2023). Irene was the last surviving member of her family. She worked at Eastern Health as an accounts payable clerk, starting in 1974, up until she officially retired in April 2019 after 45 years of service.

Irene leaves to mourn her husband, of almost 44 years, John Norman; her oldest Son, Todd; and her youngest son, Michael. She also leaves behind her only grandchild, Oliver. Cremation has taken place. As per Irene`s request, there will be no funeral viewing or funeral service. In lieu of flowers, charitable donations can be made to a charity of one`s choice. “We Love you more than words can say.
