It is with immense sadness and broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved daughter, sister, mother, aunt, and friend, Jessica Teresa Barnes, aged 29 years.

Jessica is reunited with her loving father, Thomas Wadland, and grandmothers, Teresa Mullaly and Catherine Barnes. It comforts us that you are now wrapped safely in Dad's arms.

She is leaving to mourn her adoring mother, Sandra; biological father, Walter; beautiful daughter, Makenzie; sister Heather (Mike); brother Andrew; stepsister Lacey (Daniel); nephews Bently and Jude; Aunt Sharon (Gary); Aunt Linda (Jim); Uncle Gary (Christine); Uncle Don (Bernice); Aunt Tina (Scott); Uncle Tony (April); Aunt Holly (Bruce); Uncle Steve (Kim); grandmother, Terry Wadland; grandfather, Walter Barnes Sr, as well as a large circle of cousins and friends.

Jess will be remembered for her kind demeanor, love of animals, infectious laugh, and witty personality. Her love for her daughter was immeasurable, and we will ensure Mackenzie never forgets her mother's love. Jess faced struggles in her life, but her family always loved and respected her. We pray that she has found peace.
