Passed peacefully away at the Health Science Centre on October 30, 2024, with her husband and son at her side, Myra Connors (nee Tobin) of Paradise, formally of Foxtrap and Gaskiers SMB in her 67th year. Myra is predeceased by her son Andrew, father Moses, sister Ethel and many other beloved family and friends. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories, her husband of 43 years Shawn and son Curtis. Myra is survived by her Mother Mary Ellen Tobin; sisters Myrtle (Richard) Cullen, Louise Tobin, Lisa (Jeff) Tobin; brothers Jerry, Tony, Iggie (Kay), Doug (Linda), Derry, Adrian (SherriLynn), Shea (Noreen); Mother in-law Joan Hammond, sisters and brothers in-law Paula Connors, Gerry (George) Fewer, Rita (Rob) Lucas, Arlene (Bob) Severn, Ron Murphy, Carole (Scott) Connors, Jamie (Kim) Connors, many nieces and nephews and a large circle of family and friends. A special thank you to the staff of the Health Science Centre, especially the staff of 4SA and the many doctors who helped Myra over the last few years. Funeral service at St. Thomas of Villanova Church in Manuels at 10:00 AM on Tuesday November 5, 2024. The interment and committal service for Myra and her son Andrew will take place following the Mass of Christian Burial in St. Edward’s Cemetery, Kelligrews.
