David Nelson Eason

Passed peacefully away, on December 8th, 2024, at the Health Science Centre, David Nelson Eason, aged 71years, surrounded by family. Lovingly known to his family and friends as Nelson and as Dave to his coworkers. Leaving to mourn wife Janice of 51 years, children Jamie (Stephanie), Jeremy (Amanda) and Dorcas (Mikey) and five beautiful grandchildren Emma, Akinisie, Ava, Asher and Anna. Two brothers Barrie (Jean deceased) and Don and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his mother and father Susie and Donald Eason, grandparent’s in-law Nathaniel and Dorcas Petten and parent’s in-law Douglas and Hilda Butler. He devoted 37 years to the Healthcare system. Special thanks to the doctors and nurses from 4 North A and his cancer care team for their incredible care and compassion. Also Rev. Wayne Parsons for his many visits. Heartfelt thanks to Maxine and Shirley Petten, Diane and Richard Lear, Barb Moores, Barrie Eason, Ralph and Minnie Petten and Vic and Cindy Petten for your kindness and assistance throughout the last of our journey.
