Passed peacefully away, surrounded by his family, at the St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital at the age of 79. Predeceased by his wife of 50 years, Margaret Rose, his parents Hayward and Mildred, father and mother-in-law Eric and Mary Badcock, sisters Judy and Juanita, infant sons Todd and George and special niece Belinda. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, his partner Nancy Hynes, sons Alan (Barb) MacKenzie, Tony (Nancy), Dale (Betty), Dawn Hayes (Craig), grandchildren Geoffrey (Stephanie), Kelsey (Tyler), Tyler (Abby), Nicholas (Chelsey), and Haley. Great grandchildren Sophia, Alexis, Jordyn, and Isabelle. Sister-in-law Barb Caines (Tom), brothers in law Clyde, Herb Badcock (Betty), Eric (Carla). Very special niece Andrea Gosse (Tony), also, Nancy’s children Nicole (Bill), Peggy (Bill), Norm (Ursula), Ed (Lisa) and their families. Also, many nieces, nephews and friends. Cremation has taken place. Visitation in Hickey’s Funeral Home, 570 Conception Bay Highway, Conception Bay South on Wednesday, February 5 from 3pm to 8pm. Funeral service will take place from All Saints Anglican Church, Foxtrap on Thursday February 6, 2025, at 10 am. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Dunn’s Hill Road, Foxtrap.
