With great sadness the family of the late Kevin Patey announce his passing on March. 5th 2025 at the Miller Centre in St. John’s.


Kevin was born in St. Anthony on October. 20th 1957 to James and Pearl Patey. He resided at Hefferman’s Guest Home in the Goulds. He was a quiet and gentle soul that had a life long love of chess, and back in the day, he was quite a good sketcher.


He leaves to mourn his brothers: Martin (Joan), Barry (Angie), sister: Shelia (Craig), nephew: Braeden , nieces: Amy, Abbey and Kayla (Justin). Also a circle of friends at Hefferman’s Home.


He is predeceased by his parents James and Pearl and his brother Ken.


A special thanks to the staff at Hefferman’s for all you’ve done for Kevin over the years. Also thank you to the doctors and nurses at St. Clare’s Hospital and the Miller Centre.
