Obituary of Frederick (Ted) Dawe

With profound sadness we share the passing of Frederick (Ted) Dawe surrounded by his loving family at his home by the pond, after a courageous battle with cancer on March 20th, 2025. Predeceased by Mom & Dad: Betty and Abe Dawe, nieces: Jamie Lynn and Lori, nephew: David, sister-in-law: Elsie and brother-in-law: Jackie. Leaving to mourn with a lifetime full of memories are his partner and best friend Heather and her daughter Danielle, sisters: Daphne (Rod), Donna (Don), Leona, Scottie (Earl), brothers: Ray (Cindy), Ross (Gail),nieces, nephews and other family members of the Dawe and Kelly families, special friends: Edgar, Cliff and Barry Ayles. The family would like to thank everyone for their kindness and support, especially Billy Farrell for everything he done for Ted during his years at Farrell’s Excavating Ltd and our community health nurses who helped us to keep Ted at home. Ted was a lover of hunting, fishing and all outdoors. He had a love for music and gatherings where the “spoons” would always break out. He will be remembered for his beautiful smile and certainly missed by all that knew the fun loving, hardworking, easy-going guy that he was.
