Linda Paterson

1954 – 2025

Passed away peacefully at the age of 70, Linda Paterson leaves behind a loving family and a legacy of kindness and service.

Linda was predeceased by her Mother Margaret Murray and Father Robert Murray. She will be deeply mourned by her children: Jill Paterson (Thomas Moran), and their daughters Hazel and Robyn Moran; and Ross Paterson (Charlene Paterson), and their children Kaia, Gregor, Nuatii, and Roen.

Linda is also lovingly remembered by her brother Roderick Murray (Linda Bruce), and a large circle of extended family and friends.

Throughout her life, Linda held a variety of roles in health care, social work, and community service. She approached each with compassion, commitment, and a genuine desire to make a difference.

Linda cherished life’s simple joys—shopping trips, travel adventures, a good British mystery, and most of all, time spent with family and friends. Her unwavering love, unmistakable Scottish determination, wise guidance, infectious positivity, and vibrant sense of fun enriched the lives of everyone who knew her. Her spirit will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all those she touched.

The family extends heartfelt thanks to the excellent staff at Comfort Home Care, NL Health Services CBS, and to the dedicated nurses and doctors in the Neurology Department at the Health Sciences Centre and the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre.
