How blessed we all were to have known Marjorie. My heart goes out to Joanne, Chris, Scott and Tony for your loss. I hope you find comfort knowing that she remains present in hearts of those that knew her, and, I believe, in the sea, the pebbles and glass on the beaches, in her art, and her garden. The times I spent at Marjorie’s home are some of the clearest and best memories I have and treasures I carry with me. She was a gifted artist, her hooked rugs remarkable. Chicken rice soup, corn beef hash, fish and brews… Yes my spider… I can hear her now. To know Marjorie was to love her. I’m sending my heartfelt wishes to you now, who loved her most.

To Scott and the Locke family.
So sorry to read about your mom's passing. I recall her free spirit when I would visit decades ago. I even recall that she used to wake up just as it was getting light and sit on the deck with a tape recorder to record the birds singing...or so I was told but believe it!!
Treasure the memories and continue with her sense of adventure, regardless of your age!! Rest in peace, Mrs. Locke.

To Mrs Lockes family
So sorry to hear of your Moms passing she was such a beautiful person
I would drop by when she would call me and ask if I could drop off her fee for her cabin in Salmonier
I looked forward to her call she always had a little joke or a story to share
Her like my self loved to tell me little hints & tips about her garden
She told many story about her adventures trouting berry picking
I would stop by for her fee & would more often then not spend 1-2 hours
May your beautiful soul rest in peace Mrs Locke

Thank you Lynn. Mom and dad's cabin was her saving grace after she lost her own mother. Helping her to pay her cabin fees was so surely appreciated. I'm glad you got to see my real mom in her garden...all flowers, seeds, animals and insects were loved and protected in her garden. We have generations of crows, gulls and birds who come daily for feeding...and years ago I documented 67 species of wild flowers and trees in her garden. I called her the human cow...as she hand picked the grass

Truely sad to hear of Marge’s passing and sending you all my sincere heartfelt condolances.
I truely all the times I’ve spent visiting Marge over the years at the cabin with uncle Ralph or out around the bay. Always with a smile on her face I enjoyed our chats and her showing me her new creations and of what she found out in the woods or beachcomig. God love her.

Joanne, Chris, Scott and Tony, it certainly wont be the same not seeing Marge out going around the garden. She always said how much she loved the trees and flowers and didn't care what anyone else thought about them....lol. She was never one not to speak her mind. How much laughing did I do when she got going. She was a character. God love her. She will be missed and I know she was well loved and cared for.
Thinking of you all.

God Bless ye, Sherry, Karen and Jackie. Despite mom's lack of church going, she dearly loved God.
She daily sang a song whose lyrics contained " my eyes have seen the glory of the comming of the Lord..."
I am ever so thankful for the concern and flowers ye sent 10 years ago when she had her accident, and every time ye asked about her.
