  Marjorie Locke (Noseworthy)

Born in Long Pond, Manuels on March 26, 1938, mom passed peacefully away at home surrounded by her loving family on April 5, 2025, aged 87 years. She leaves many fond and precious memories to her loving children Joanne, Chris (Bob), Scott (Mark) and grandsons Tony (Ana), Brandon, George and Mitchell, as well as her sister Gertie. Marjorie was predeceased by her parents Annie (Fudge) and Frank Noseworthy, her brothers Jacob Francis (“Bub”) and Rudolph, as well as her loving husband George and son Gary.

Mom spent her entire life gallivanting all around her beloved Newfoundland; always exploring, she loved everything from berry picking to beachcombing. She proudly displayed the many pieces of driftwood, interesting rocks and other random things that she had found during her travels.

Always found “playing in her garden” as she put it, mom enjoyed a great love for nature and animals and truly appreciated the beauty in everything. She often said upon reflection, “I’ve lived a good life … I wouldn’t change a thing in my world …”

Mom left a lasting impression on everyone she met … to know her was to love her. She will be deeply missed, always remembered and forever loved.
