We are so sorry to hear of Dave's passing. He was such a nice man - very friendly, outgoing and kind. He was also a great friend to dad (who else could get dad on a Ferris wheel??). I'm sure they are together having a yarn and reminiscing. Thinking of you across the miles.

My heart is heavy but I know we will see each other one day. As a child I spent many days at Uncle David’s.. I will always remember him saying I Po Boy and giving a wink. Rest easy! Wish I could be there today but know my heart is with you all at this time.

Tina, Candida, Siobhan, Tim, Bev and family,
So heart broken to hear of Uncle David's passing. Even though he reached a great age it's never long enough...we never want to say good bye. Your house was my second home growing up. From countless sleepovers, camping in the backyard, rides in the Argo, learning to drive with Candida in the Lada, etc., there are so many great memories to recall. I am so thankful to have all of those experiences because of being welcome into your home.
Last year, as my grandson, Isaac, celebrated his Grade 6 Farewell, it was made extra special because Siobhan's daughter, Lexie, was also celebrating her Grade 6 Farewell. To watch my Dad and Uncle David catching up, making plans to go cod - jigging and admiring Isaac (Dad's great-grandson) and Lexie's (Uncle David's grand daughter) accomplishments, was truly special.

To Dave's kids & families,
I'm so sorry to hear of Dave's passing. He was a great friend to Mom & Dad. It was so good to see him, when he dropped by to see Dad at the funeral home. He spoke highly of Dad & how Dad taught him alot about moose hunting. We camped with them many years. And they had many moose hunting trips. He always loved to joke & carry on. Always a smile whenever u saw him. May u rest in peace Dave. Perhaps u will all meet up again. Take care of each other in the coming days. ❤️

So sorry to hear of the loss of your Dad, Partner and Grandfather. Our families have been entwined for years ….our parents and yours went back and forth to each others houses and they camped together. Dad was the entertainer with the harmonica and you girls would be step dancing …what a time they would have and your mother bawling at you fellas to get to bed. He had nick names for everyone he met…Wannie was Dads lol . He was so much fun . Cherish the memories because I’m sure you have lots….-and share the stories with the grandchildren so they can share them as well. Know he is with all his friends and he is out of pain! Rest easy David.

My families deepest Condences to all especially Siobhan and family.
I met your Dad a few times at the office and he was a profound man. He left a lasting Impression and it was as if I had known him my entire life at our very first meet.
His personally was bigger than he was by far. His love for you was easy to see.
He was a man who was full of life.
Stories and jokes rolled off his tongue like it was his life's work to tell all.
You are a truly amazing Daughter and Lexie a grandaughter that just shone when she spoke of him and to top it off he was given a truly amazing Son in law.
He was blessed beyond words as were you all to have him. I have no doubt he knew it.
