It is with heavy hearts, we announce the passing of a Husband, Father, Grandfather, and Brother, Gordon Victor Taylor, who passed away peacefully at the age of 79 years on June 13th, 2025, at Lions Manor Nursing Home in Placentia.

Gordon is survived by his wife Patrica of 50 years, as well as his Son Gord (Daphne) and his Granddaughter Sarah. Gordon also leaves behind many friends and former co-workers at the CBS Town Hall and friends from Cherry Lane.

Gordon is predeceased by his Mother and Father, William and Bertha Taylor of CBS, Mother and Father-in-Law, Bernard and Alice Deemert from Cambridge Ontario, Brother, William Robert and Stepbrother, Thomas Baird both of CBS, and Brother-in-Law, James Deemert of Cambridge, Ontario.

Our family cannot thank the staff at the Lions Manor Nursing Home in Placentia enough for their exceptional care, love and kindness they provided to Gordon, making him feel truly special and loved during his final years. We will forever be grateful to you all!

Visitation will take place in Hickey’s Funeral Home, 570 Conception Bay Highway, Conception Bay South on Tuesday, June 17th, 2025, from 3-7pm. Funeral Procession will take place at All Saint’s Parish in Foxtrap on Wednesday, June 18th, 2025, at 1:30pm. Burial to follow at Dunns Hill Road Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or the SPCA in your area.
