Nugent, Elizabeth (Bessie) (nee Richards)

Passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on June 25th, 2025, age 100 years. Predeceased by her husband: Edward (Ned), daughter: Theresa, infant boys, and members of the Nugent, Richards and Druken families. Left with a wealth of loving and precious memories her children: Rose (Irvin), Paddy (Eileen), Agnes (Bob), Nora (Paul), Marie (Vince), precious grandchildren: Charlotte (Josh), Norine (Gordie), Bernard (Angela), Matthew, Cassandra, Priscilla (Christopher), Samantha, Gerald and Justin, great-grandchildren: William, Colby, Payton, Gordon and Carson. Also, nieces, nephews and a large circle of extended family and friends. Special thanks to Roxanne and Vicki for the empathy, understanding and exceptional care rendered to mom and her family. Visitation in Hickey’s Funeral Home, 570 Conception Bay Highway, Conception Bay South on Thursday, June 26th, 2025 from 3 – 7 pm, Friday, June 27th, 2025 from 12 – 7 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will take place in St. Thomas of Villa Nova Church, Manuel’s on Saturday, June 28th, 2025 at 10 am. Interment in St. Edward’s Cemetery, Kelligrews.
