Passed peacefully away at his daughter’s residence in Upper Gullies under the care of his 2 Angels, Ms Laura and Jill, whom he thought the world of. The last surviving son of Henry and Jessie (Fagan) Petten. Predeceased by his loving wife Mary June (Russell); Brothers Wilson (Jean), Isaac (Lena), Wallace (Dorthy), Leslie (Nellie), Henry (Jean), Stanley and George. Sisters Joan Jefford (Sam), Mary Porter (Noah), Lucey Boren (Bill), Jessie Sherman (Gary), Laura Butler (Leslie). Brother in laws Ted Barns and Larry Dunn. Left with Loving and fond memories Son Russell (Priscilla), Daughter Christina (Special friend and second son Jack). Sisters Violet and Evelyn. Pippy's crew; Meghan (Adrian), Christopher, Tiffany (Alastair), Kiara, Iain, Nevaeh, Nathan and Noah. Grandchildren Jessica (Neil) and Kelsey (Brett). Great Grandchildren; Izabelle, Jack, Adalynn and Addison. Sister in laws Alma and Margaret. Also, a wide range of nieces, nephews and friends all over. Dad lived his life with a strong work ethic and a great compassion for giving to the community. This was recently recognized by being awarded The Sovereign's Medal for Volunteers by the Governor General. Visitation in Hickey’s Funeral Home, 570 Conception Bay Highway, Conception Bay South on Friday, July 4th, 2025 from 3 – 7 pm, Saturday, July 5th, 2025 from 1 – 5 pm.
