It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, George Joseph Morgan on July 5th, 2025, just weeks shy of his 71st birthday. Our hearts will forever be broken, as to be loved by him was truly no greater gift. The mark he has left with those who knew him will forever be stamped in our hearts. George was a hard-working man all his life. In his leisure time he loved to work on antique cars, go trouting , plan road trips , go to car shows , watch old western movies , playing crib with Carol Ann and loved to torment her when he won , spending time at his camper soaking up the sun by day and sitting by the campfire with his camping buddies at night.
Predeceased by his mother Effie, “nan” Ethel, sister Paulette, brothers in law Patrick, Dave, Ed and Neddy, and sister-in-law, Glenys.
Leaving to mourn with heavy hearts his devoted and loving wife and best friend Carol Ann, who remained by his side through everything including his Ottawa journey the past year at the Heart Institute. His daughter Lisa and grandsons Riley and Robert who he loved dearly and cherished with all his heart. His daughter Dana, son in law Pat, grandchildren Arron and Mackenzie (Diana) who he took into his heart and loved as though they were always his. His brother Randy (Shelly), sister Lydia (Jeff ) and niece Melanie, brothers and sisters in law Theresa (Tom), Joyce (Joe), Bill (Sue), Jack (Karen), Mary, Betty, Helen (Gord), Peggy ( Phil), Jeanette (Steve), special niece and nephew Sherry, Andrew and special cousin Marilyn. A large circle of family and friends especially his buddies Con, Dave and Raymond.
George and Carol Ann were so very blessed to have met some wonderful Newfoundland friends while in Ottawa waiting for a heart transplant. Sherry Pollard, (Dan, deceased), Darrol and Lori Rice, daughter Eva-Lynn, parents Wayne and Evelyn Rice, Aaron and Kendell Richards, Gerri-Ann and Corey Saunders.
