It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lolly (Lorraine) Noseworthy who left us peacefully on July 8th, 2025, after a brief illness. Lolly was a devoted mother, grandmother, cherished sister and friend, and was a pillar of compassion in the community.
Lolly is predeceased by the love of her life Chris, her parents Anthony and Mary, sister Carol Ann, brother Bob, father- and mother-in-law Bernard and Annie, and brothers-in-law Wade (Patsy) and Bernie (Debbie). She leaves behind her beloved children Krista (Steve) and Stephen (Ashley), cherished grandchildren Darcy, Cole and Cayden, loving sisters Judy, Petrina (Glenn), Rosemary (Mac), Janet and Liz, brother John (Michelle), sisters-in-law Gail (Randy) and Debbie, brother-in-law Gary and a large circle of nieces and nephews, all who hold a special place in her heart.
As the long-time manager of North Pond Manor, Lolly was a fixture of care and kindness in Torbay and surrounding communities and will be remembered fondly by countless residents and their families for her unwavering commitment to their care and well-being. For Lolly and her team at North Pond, resident care was not simply a job, it was a calling and way of life. Lolly was entrusted by countless families to provide care to their loved ones, and she responded with unmatched dedication and humility.
Lolly was a friend to many, all of whom have many memories of the hands of cards, darts, infamous turkey dinners, laughs and great generosity in her home. Her door was always open and the table and fridge full. Her sister’s trips and time spent at the cabin were among Lolly’s most cherished memories. The family would like to especially recognize dear friends Cathy and Pat who went above and beyond for Lolly. She could not have asked for more dedicated friends and their friendship and kindness was truly beyond compare.
