Passed away suddenly after a brief illness at St. Clare's Hospital. Kevin is predeceased by his half brother: Randy in 1968, his father: Francis Dooley in 1977, his mother: Mavis Viola (Grace) Mercer, (nee Anstey) in 2007, stepfather: Richard Mercer in 2011, his nephew’s: Brandon Dooley in 1994, Justin Livland in 1998 and Christopher Dooley in 2019, and his stepson Stephen Bragg in 2022. 

Leaving to mourn his wife: Dorothy, (nee Tibbs), his stepson: Glenn Bragg, ( Sherri ), step grandchildren: Shianne & Liam Bragg, step daughters: Crystal Vey & Serena Ali Shortliffe, his brothers: Larry, (Carolle), Charlie, (Donna), Gerry, (Paula), his sister: Marjorie Livland, (Mark), and half sister: Wanda Mercer, (Roger), nieces: Genevieve, Julie, Sarah, Samantha, Lara, and Nancy, and nephew Alex. Grand nieces and nephews:  Zavier, Maxine, Callum, and Alexandra. He also leaves behind his beloved fur babies Princess and Cosmo.

Kevin's wish was always to travel, and after retiring from Marine Atlantic, and meeting Dorothy, he was able to fulfill that wish and travel in his beloved RV motorhome. Bringing Princess and Cosmo along for the ride as well. He certainly enjoyed his last few years.
