Passed away suddenly at the Health Science Center on July 26th, 2025.  Joyce Kennedy, aged 82 years. Predeceased by her parents: Robert and Olive Jefford, brother: Robert Jefford; and Brother-in-law: Angus Kennedy.

Leaving to mourn her husband: Stewart, her daughters: Sharon (Robert Burns), Sandra (Bryan Mock); and Sherry (John Boggan), Grandchildren: Victoria, Andrew, and Brandon; and grandfurbaby Thor; Brother Boyd Jefford (Claire); and Sister-in-laws: Lily Kennedy and Gertie Jefford, and many nieces and nephews.

Joyce was a wife, mother, and grandmother first, leaving great memories for all to cherish. She was always a hard worker. She was a teacher in the community for many years until her retirement. Not one to sit still for long, she found her retirement job at Fabricville where she worked for over 25 years. She cherished the relationships she built at Fabricville with coworkers and customers alike. Going to work gave her purpose, enjoyment, and an extended family. A Special thanks to the paramedics, doctors, and nurses at the Health Sciences Centre emergency department.
