It’s only been approx. three weeks ago, when I was visiting, that Sam proudly said the reason they still loved each other and had such a strong marriage was that they did everything together. This is so surreal. My heart breaks for her Family. My Aunt Patricia truly cared about so many including Paul and I. When we move to NL 15 years ago (I was born here originally) she along with Sam welcomed us with opened arms. After just a short while it was like I had been around her my whole life. I love that we had the opportunity to have that relationship. I was so blessed to have been able so share many family gatherings with her. Either at my place of other family member’s places. Aunt Patricia thank you for making Paul and I part of your family and that is a gift we will never forget. Sam, Robert, Claudette, Mark and the late Jacqueline you also all made us feel like close family! My heart is with you all. We never know what lies around the corner. My Nanny Smith used to say “Live as if today is your last but plan for a 100 years”. You lived a full good life. Your time to rest is here and with any luck we will meet again!
