Gordon Patrick Hennebury

August 19th, 1949 – July 30th, 2025

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Gordon Patrick Hennebury on July 30th, 2025, at the Dr. L.A. Miller Centre with his family members by his side. Gordon was 75 years old.

Gordon was predeceased by his parents: Ewan and Elizabeth (Morrissey), Brother: Clarence, Sister: Mary (Coish), Grandson: Bradley, Nephew: David.

Leaving to mourn with fond and cherished memories his loving family: Wife and best friend of 59 years, Linda (Tilley). Children: John (Sheri), Mike (Charmaine), Jamie (Lisa) and Daughter: Marlaina (Gilly) Chafe. As well as his Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren, extended family and large circle of friends. Also, his greatest companion; man’s best friend his dog Lola who never left his side.

Throughout his 9-year cancer journey, Gordon displayed incredible courage and unwavering hope. He fought with determination and grace, inspiring everyone who knew him.

Gordon was a devoted and loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great-Grandfather, Brother and Uncle. A source of light to everyone who knew him. He was known for his unwavering kindness, humor and resilience. Gordon touched the lives of so many.

The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre and the Dr. L.A. Miller Centre, as well as his family doctor, Greg Sutton and CBS community health nurse, Janice, for their endless compassion and support.

Cremation has taken place, in accordance to Gordon’s wishes.
