Passed peacefully away in the comfort of her home on August 4th, 2025, with her family by her side, Amy Florence Porter age 91 years.

Predeceased by her parents Hugh and Mabel (Dawe) Eason; her first born Baby Boy Porter; reunited at long last with her husband James (Jim); sister and best friend Susanne (Sue) Cable (Will); brothers Hugh (Brud) Jr. and Bertram; son-in-law Paul Hiscock, and great-grand baby Georgia.

Leaving to mourn are daughters Joan Hiscock (Paul-deceased), and Brenda Westcott (Dave); sons Roy Martin (Mae Walsh), and William (Bill) Porter (Tina). Granddaughters Krista Kelly (Sean), Cortney Lodge (Wayne), Nicholas (Nicole) Martin, Jimmy Westcott (Melanie Saunders), Ashley Westcott and William Porter (Joee Rose); Great-grandchildren Jacob, Emma, Sarah, Aubrey, Isaac, Anna and Kailey; and special brother Robert (Dallas) Eason, who visited with her every week; as well as a multitude of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Sharing in sadness are special caregivers Jane Critch, whom she dearly adored; Kim O’Brien, and Jennifer Tilley, all looked after her just as if she was one of their own family.

Visitation in Hickey’s Funeral Home, 570 Conception Bay Highway, Conception Bay South on Wednesday, August 6th, 2025, from 3 pm – 7 pm.
