Our beloved Enid passed peacefully from the loving arms of her loving and devoted family, into the loving arms of Jesus on Tuesday, August 5th, 2025. Enid was born on March 15th, 1947, at Foxtrap to Mary and Noah Porter. At the tender age of 17 she married her husband, Gordon Haines, and they raised three (3) children. They were proud grandparents all of whom she loved dearly. Enid’s faith was reflected in her warm personality and her love of life. She put all her energies into ensuring everyone was welcome and looked after. Enid was a tireless individual, whether helping her husband, her children, her family or her many cherished organizations. Enid kindness knew no bounds, her smile and tender ways will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. Known for her exceptional cooking and baking skills to all of the community, having made many cakes for birthdays, weddings and anniversaries over the years. Enid stayed long enough to prepare us for her parting, she filled us with her positive attitude, strength and courage so that we might handle her passing, she has been an inspiration to us all. Predeceased by her parents: Mary and Noah, grandchild: Samantha, infant granddaughters, mother and father-in-law: Wilmeth and Robert, brothers-in-law: Fred, Max, Bill and Bob, sisters-in-law: Enid and Catherine and deceased members of the Porter and Haines families.
