Gord Walsh

December 11th, 1947 – September 5th, 2025

We are heartbroken to share that Gordon William Walsh passed away suddenly at his home on Friday, September 5, 2025, at the age of 77. Gord was predeceased by his parents John and Margaret and brothers John and Bernie Walsh. Leaving behind his devoted wife of 54 years Rita, his children Christine (Paul) and their children Katelyn (Andrew) and Julia, Gordie (Trish) and their children, Cameron, Brooke, and Rowan, sister Janet Walsh, many brothers and sisters-in-law, many nieces and nephews, and countless friends. Gord loved to be in the woods or on the water, and there was nothing he wouldn’t build or fix. He built the homes of many families and friends. In his early years he worked as a Barber and an Electrician, finishing his career as a carpenter with ND Dobbin. His love for his family and friends was constant and steadfast, and we loved him just as fiercely back. He was truly a jack of all trades and a master of our hearts. Visitation in Hickey’s Funeral Home, 570 Conception Bay Highway, Conception Bay South on Thursday, September 11th, 2025, from 9am -12:00pm. Funeral service in St. Edward’s Parish Conception Bay South/Paradise on Thursday, September 11th, 2025, at 1:00 pm. Interment St. Edward’s Cemetery, Kelligrews.
