Alec Stewart

August 3,1979-September 1, 2025

Leaving us with vivid memories and immense sadness, Alec (Alexander) Gordon Stewart peacefully passed at his residence. Alec was a loving father, son, brother, nephew, cousin, grandson, colleague and friend to many. His generosity extended from family to friends to the less fortunate. He loved deeply and dearly. Aside from the first love of his life, his son Oliver, he treasured his family, his work family, his friends, and his caregivers. Alec is predeceased by his baby brother Allan, his grandfathers Gordon Stewart and Ralph Genge, and his grandmother Elvie Genge. Left to mourn are his son Oliver, father and mother Derek and Louise Stewart, brother Jeremy (Stephanie) Stewart ( special nephew & niece Arthur & Freya),sibling Melanie Stewart, grandmother Ella Stewart, as well as his 2 “step-dogs” Max and Maya and his greater extended family including many dear Aunts,Uncles,Cousins. Big in every way- size, humor, intelligence & generosity.
