Lorraine Ellen (Mercer) Jarvis

In her 81st year, Lorraine passed away peacefully on November 12th, 2025.

Lorraine, through her 40 years of ministry, her community involvement, hobbies and groups, touched the lives, and will be missed, by many.

Predeceased and meeting her with God are her parents, Cyril and Alice, sister, Florence, brothers, Cyril and Leonard, and parents- in- law, Rev. Phillip and Clara Jarvis.

With cherished memories, Lorraine will be loved forever and dearly missed by her ever loving George, daughters, Cindy (Tim) and Kelly (Steve), step-children, Tanya (Eric) and Greg Jarvis, her grand-children, Jennifer, Melissa, Natasha, Joshua, Dawson, Tracy, Andrew, Olivia, Gavin, Katheryn and James. She is also mourned by her sister, Margaret Thistle, brother, Gordon (Pam) and sister-in-law, Phyllis Hansford (Granville), along with many nieces and nephews.

Lorraine will be resting at Hickey’s Funeral Home, 570 Conception Bay Highway, Conception Bay South on Saturday, November 15th, 2025, from 3 pm – 6 pm. Funeral service at Topsail United Church on Sunday, November 16th, 2025, at 1:30 pm. Interment in Topsail United Cemetery.
