Passed peacefully away at the Health Science Centre following a short illness, Rose Mason aged 90 of Avondale.

Predeceased by her parents, James and Elizabeth Penney, her mother and father-in-law, John and Marie Mason, her 5 sisters and 2 brothers.

Left with fond and loving memories is her husband of 52 years, John whom she adored. Her many nieces and nephews, her sister-in-law, Kay Penney and Brother-in-laws Vincent and Ben Mason. Also left to mourn Rose are a large circle of close friends and neighbors whom she loved dearly.

As per Rose’s request, cremation has taken place. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday, December 22, 2025, at 11am at Assumption Parish Church, Avondale with internment to follow at Avondale Cemetery.
