E. Thelma Manuel passed away peacefully on December 19th, 2025, at the age of 85.

Born on October 31st, 1940, in Port Hope Simpson, Labrador, Thelma spent her childhood growing up in Trinity East, Newfoundland. In 1969, she made her home in Conception Bay South, where she resided for the remainder of her life.

Thelma was a deeply hardworking and devoted woman. She began her career as a school teacher, teaching from 1958 until 1968, before choosing to dedicate herself fully to her family as a stay-at-home mother in 1969. Her commitment to her home and loved ones was evident in everything she did.

She found great joy in gardening and took pride in caring for her home, creating a warm and welcoming place for family and friends. Her quiet strength, dedication, and love will be remembered by all who knew her.

Thelma is lovingly remembered by her husband: Geoffrey, her two sons: Mike (Gina) and Robin (Lorelei); her grandsons: Shane (Julia) and Joshua; and her great-grandchildren: Theo and Jax. She is also remembered by her brother: Gordon (Trixie); her sister: Printzline; her Uncle: Franklin(Ruby).Thelma is survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews in the Manuel, Goldsworthy, Piercey, Haynes, and Locke families.

She was predeceased by her mother: Mary, and her father: Abraham.
