Passed away suddenly on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, while enjoying his morning walk, Michael Rhodenizer, one week before his 53rd birthday.

Mike was predeceased by his younger brother, Dave (2018), and his grandparents, Reg and Joyce Elliott and Clarence and Effie Rhodenizer.

Left with cherished memories are his mother, Pam; his father, Dean (Joan, deceased); his younger brother, Steve (Michelle); his sister-in-law, Krista McGrath; three nephews: fellow hockey analyst David and Lego buddies Luke and John; his special Aunt Kathy Vincer (Mike) and cousins Anthony, Mary Pam, and Tom; special friends Jerry and Joanne Butler; childhood friends Mick Sinnott and Geoff Barnes; as well as other relatives, friends and colleagues.

Mike was a beloved son, a dependable big brother, a proud uncle, a loyal friend and a respected colleague.

Per his wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service.
