It is with deep love and sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend, Ruby Keats (Dawe), at the age of 82 years.

Ruby leaves behind her devoted husband, Bob, with whom she shared a lifetime of love and unwavering support for one another. She also leaves to mourn a large and loving circle of family, including her brothers Bill and Wayne; her in-laws; children; grandchildren; nieces; nephews; and her cherished four-legged grandchildren, who brought her so much happiness.

Ruby took great pride in her work at the Waterford Hospital, where she found purpose and joy each day. She enjoyed the simple pleasures in life, especially camping and the many memories made along the way with family and friends. Ruby also treasured her time at the Senior Social Club on Park Avenue, where she shared laughter, companionship, and community. She found special happiness in knitting, creating not only beautiful handmade gifts but also lasting expressions of love that her family and friends will always treasure.

Her life was marked by kindness, warmth, and quiet strength. Her memory will live on in all who loved her.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Ruby’s life on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at her home from 2:00–6:00 p.m. All are welcome to come, share memories, and honour the wonderful woman she was.
