Passed away suddenly but peacefully on March 22nd, 2026, age 65 years.

Sandy recently retired from a career in lawn care and also was employed with CBS Cabs. Sandy was known for his strong work ethic, his love of music, and the deep love he had for his family.

He had a lifelong passion for music and especially enjoyed artists like The Eagles and Dr. Hook. He loved playing guitar and had an incredible ear for music — he could hear a song on the radio and write out the chords himself. He also loved camping and going on adventures in his van, often with music blasting.

Some of the most cherished memories shared with his family were simple but meaningful — watching hockey together, renting the newest UFC fights when his son was younger, and Saturday nights spent watching the Leafs game while enjoying seafood. Sandy also coached his son in softball growing up and treasured the time they spent together playing crib and listening to music.

Sandy leaves behind his loving girlfriend: Tina, his son: Colin (Jaymee), grandson: Alex, daughter: Jenny, granddaughters: Claire and Gwen. Sandy is also remembered by sisters: Noreen, Sandra (Bill), Janet (Roger), brothers: Mike (Janet), Tom (Donna), Greg, and special friend: Giggs. Also, nieces, nephews, and a circle of extended family and friends.
