It is with great sadness that the Loder family announces the passing of Ella Marguerite Alice Loder (nee White) on March 23, 2026 at the Health Sciences Centre in St. John's, Newfoundland. Marguerite left this world surrounded by her devoted husband Tom and her"girls".

Marguerite and Tom began their amazing love story over 70 years ago. They had 5 daughters, Cynthia Loder of Thunder Bay, Debbie Fahey (Richard) of Foxtrap, Susan Loder of St. John's, Sandra Peters (Ron) of St. John's and Tracy Loder of Halifax, all of whom have many cherished memories and will miss their mom forever. "Mum" also had a very special relationship with Amy Boland (Jeff) who she considered one of her own.

In addition to her husband and daughters, left behind to mourn Marguerite are 13 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. As well as a large circle of family and friends who adored her.

Marguerite was born in 1934, in Buchans NL and was a proud Buchaneer for her entire life. Marguerite and Tom have lived in many places over the years and she made each of those places her home. She loved life and made her life wherever she lived!

Sincerest thanks to the staff and residents of Admiral's Coast Retirement Home, where Marguerite and Tom lived for the last three years. She loved and appreciated you all.
