She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Frank; her son, Roger; and her son-in-law, Bill Anthony.
Left to mourn with loving and cherished memories are her children: Beverly Anthony and Brad (Jacqui), as well as her daughter-in-law, Barbara.
She will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Glenn Locke and his son Beckett; Jennifer Peters (Shawn) and their children Aurora, Zoe, and Locklynn; Andrew Parsons (Sylvia) and their children Sophie and Sam; and Leslie Parsons (Courtney) and their daughter Emmalena.
Eleanor will be remembered for her love of family and the simple pleasures in life. She especially enjoyed family dinners and gatherings, where she loved being surrounded by those she cared for. She cherished her telephone conversations with extended family and friends and always valued staying connected.
She enjoyed a “hot” cup of tea and a slice of toast and found peace sitting in her garden. She also treasured time spent outdoors with her special neighbours and family. Eleanor enjoyed attending TOPS meetings and the long-lasting friendships she formed there.
Cremation has taken place. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
Eleanor will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her family and friends, nieces and nephews, extended family, and all who knew her.
