John Bradbury Obituary
It is with profound sadness that the family of John Bradbury announces his sudden passing on April 14, 2026, at his home. He was predeceased by both parents, two brothers, and his beloved Great Grandson Jasper McWilliam Temple, who was born an angel.
Leaving to mourn is his beloved wife and best friend of over 54 years Deborah, daughter Lynn (Rod), son Matthew (Sabrina), the apple of his eye, his granddaughter Jaimee-Lynn (Jack), brother-in-law David (Beverly), plus numerous nieces and nephews.
Music was an integral part of his life playing in bands with Cadets, Salvation Army, and CLB. John also proudly served his country in the Canadian Armed Forces for 34.5 years as a musician before his retirement in 2005 in which he returned home to Newfoundland. Beyond a lifelong passion for music, he also loved fishing and going to bingo.
His love for his best friend Deborah was second to none as they were high school sweethearts and remained in love until the very end. Family was also extremely important to John, and he always had a joke or special "tease" for everyone he met.
Cremation has already taken place and there will be a celebration of life which will take place at a later date this summer. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the Bliss Murphy Center or Heart & Stroke Foundation.
