Mary Rose Tucker passed peacefully away surrounded by the love of her family. Predeceased by her husband: Patrick, brother: Neil Burke, parents: Essie and Con Burke, father and mother-in-law: Phillip and Alice Tucker, and many Tucker relatives.

Leaving to mourn with loving memories are her daughters: Rosemary (Mark Duff), Tina (John Rogers), sons: Patrick and Sean (Bernadette nee Gregory) grandchildren: Meghan (Robert Cahill), Melissa Duff (Carson White), Krista (Joshua Keegan), Aaron Hewlett (Ashley), Shane Tucker and Josh Tucker, great grandchildren: Calvin Cahill, Lauren White, Aria and Amber Hewlett, her sister: Theresa Arsenault, brother: Albert Burke (Ruth), sisters-in-law: Margie Burke, Anne Tucker and brother-in-law: Frank Tucker. Also, many nieces, nephews and friends.

The family would like to thank the staff of Meadow Creek for their care and professionalism, the paramedics and the St. Clare’s staff, especially nurse Amanda Alyward in emergency. The family would also like to give a special thank you to her nieces Edwina Arsenault and Dawn Tucker for always checking up on her. As well the family would like to thank Stephen Tucker for always dropping in with fish and to have a chat. To Danielle and Michelle Burke, we appreciate the many visits. To Effie Riggs her special friend, thank you for being there for mom and to Sheila Gallagher, her neighbor of 50 years, thanks for caring so much.

Mom loved to see people come to her home. She greeted them with open arms and a big smile and quite often a bigger laugh. She will be remembered for her beautiful smile and pleasant personality.

Visitation in Hickey’s Funeral Home, 570 Conception Bay Highway, Conception Bay South, on Monday, April 20th, 2026, from 3:00pm – 7:00pm. Mass of Christian Burial to take place in St. Thomas of Villa Nova Roman Catholic Church ( St. Edward's Parish), Manuels on Tuesday, April 21st, 2026, at 10:00am.
