Passed away peacefully but suddenly on May 1st, 2026, age 78 years. Predeceased by his mother and father: Elizabeth and Michael, brothers: Bernie, Rick, Mike (Betty) and Bill, sister: Betty (Gerry). Thomas is survived and cherished by his loving sister: Theresa (Ed), loving companion and friend: Carol and her family, great aunt: Angela (Judy), nieces: Kayla (Glynn), Wanda and her mother: Geralyn, nephews: Jamie (Donna) Sean (Dawn). As well as a large circle of extended family members and friends, especially Eddie Coffey and Rhonda Stamp.

Tom was a lifetime member of Iron Workers Local 721. He was a true native Newfoundlander who was proud of his home and culture. At the age of eighteen, he resettled in Ontario to pursue his trade and passion as an Iron Worker. Tom has now made his final journey to his hometown Holyrood, Newfoundland.

Visitation in Hickey’s Funeral Home, 294 Conception Bay Highway, Holyrood on Wednesday, May 27th, 2026, from 10:00am – 1:30pm. Funeral Service in Hickey’s Funeral Home at 2:00pm. Inurnment to follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Holyrood.
