Hanrahan, Doreen – Passed peacefully away on May 20th, 2026, at Pleasantview Towers, at the age of 83 years. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Gerald Hanrahan (2021); her parents, Shirley and Beatrice Eason; her sister, Dallas Warford (Raymond); her brother, Buck Eason; her nephew, Ken Eason; and other cherished members of the Eason and Hanrahan families. Leaving to mourn with a wealth of precious memories are her sister, Linda Greeley (Roy, deceased), and her sister-in-law, Helen Eason. She will be fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews: Randy Hennessey (Michalle), Jackie Stanley (Dave), Rod Hennessey (Ruby), Gail Eason, Donna Lynn Greeley (Derick), Heather Greeley (Dean), Jennifer Hickey (Andy), and their respective families. Doreen also leaves behind a large circle of cousins, extended family, dear friends, and the compassionate staff at Pleasantview Towers who provided exceptional care to her over the last two years. Doreen was a dedicated professional who spent 35 years as a devoted bookkeeper and office administrator for various businesses. Rain or shine, she was always the first to arrive at the office and the last to leave. She brought immense passion, meticulous attention to detail, and an unwavering work ethic to everything she did. Outside of her career, Doreen found great joy in simple pleasures, including berry picking, sewing, knitting, bowling, and playing pool. At Doreen's request, there will be no visitation. Funeral service in St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church, Topsail on Monday, May 25th, 2026, at 10:30 am. Interment in St. John the Evangelist Anglican Cemetery, Topsail.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the St. John the Evangelist Cemetery Fund, Topsail, CBS.
