With deep sadness we would like to announce the peaceful passing of Warren Tilley on May 22nd, 2026, age 78 years. First and foremost, dad loved his family and was a special husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and friend. Warren loved playing hockey and softball with his brothers Kevin and Rod. He was skilled at sports and we’ve been told; he was offered a tryout with the Toronto Marlies. Warren loved telling stories about his adventures while driving the Metrobus. Dad was even known as “Super Dave.” Those who knew him know how he got the title. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially quiet moments at his cabin in Mahers.

Left with precious and loving memories, his loving wife of 56 years: Ruby, daughters: Loriann and Jodi (Rudel), son: Marty (Krissy), grandchildren: Brittnie, Christian (his buddy and best friend), Joel, Laura, Leah, great grandchild: Isabella, sisters: Linda, Viola, Marie, brother: Rod and family.

Thank you to all the nurses and doctors at the Health Sciences Centre for caring for dad over the last three months.
