The loss of a loved one is never easy. Our loss of Jim is heartbreaking.

Jim was born in the small town of Trinity, Bonavista Bay, on his mother’s 28th birthday, April 5th, 1940. He worked hard all his life from the time he was 14 years old. He took great pride in his workmanship. But of all his numerous talents, his greatest gift was to love and care for his family.

Jim is predeceased by his father and mother, Walter and Nellie Winter and his sister, Jacqueline. Mourning his loss are his wife, Connie (Barnes) Winter, his daughter Jamie Winter, his granddaughter Melissa (Daniel) Holloway, and his grandson Liam O’Keefe. Also, survived by his brothers, George, Winston and Eugene. Although Jim is no longer in our physical presence, he will remain in our hearts forever.
