Philip White Obituary
It is with profound sadness and much love that we announce the passing of Philip Leo White, 78 years of age, of Upper Gullies Conception Bay South.
Philip was born in Corner Brook, April 3rd, 1948 to Margaret Buckle and Philip White Sr.
Following highschool in Corner Brook, Philip attended Memorial University Newfoundland and Laval University in Quebec. He taught French in Newfoundland and regular classrooms in Ajax, Ontario for over thirty years. Philip was highly respected and loved by friends and colleagues. He retired at 52 years of age.
Philip married Hyacinth Anne Murphy and had three sons, Matthew, Andrew and Mark. They raised their family in Pasadena, Newfoundland and Ajax, Ontario.
Outside of his work and his family, Philip's passion was gardening. His love of flowers excelled in production. Philip and Hyacinth are proud grandparents of Sawyer, Blake, Henry, and Christopher.
Of worthy note, is Philip's love of cooking and he in particular flourished when Sawyer and Blake helped prepare numerous breakfasts. He gleamed!
Philip will be remembered for his sense of humour, his kindness to all he met, and his pride in his son's characters. It would be remissed not to mention his newest fondness - Sophie, a devoted Bordoodle.
