It is with great sadness, yet also deep gratitude for a life well lived, that we announce that Linda Marie Connors' battle with cancer has come to an end. Her bravery and dignity in the face of her illness were inspiring. She passed away peacefully at home Friday July 3rd, 2026. Linda lived a life filled with love and kindness. From her roots in Fox Creek New Brunswick to her time in Nova Scotia and Newfoundland she made homes in many different cities across Atlantic Canada. She had a  passion for exploring the beauty of Atlantic Canada from playing in Petitedicodic river tidle bore as a child to visiting outports of Newfoundlandand creating treasured memories. Linda embraced every journey with curiosity and joy. Her family was the center of her life. Her husband of 47 years Ben, her daughter Vanessa were always her priorities. She found happiness in classical literature and collected prized books from around the world. She was happiest when surrounded by the people she loved. Linda had a gentle spirit and generous heart. She was the kind of person who listened more than she spoke, always offering a compassionate ear. She had a lifelong love of dogs, whose companionship brought her endless comfort and happiness.

Linda leaves behind a legacy of kindness, and unconditional love. She will be remembered for her listening heart, her adventurous spirit, and the countless ways she made life brighter for everyone fortunate enough to know her. Though she will be deeply missed, the love she shared, the memories she created, and the lives she touched will remain in our hearts forever. Linda was predeceased by her parents: Aldrice and Melvina Gauvin, sister-in-law: Charmaine. Left to mourn are husband: Ben Connors, daughter: Vanessa (Grant), sibling: Joseph (Shelia), Patricia (Lorne), Irene (Don), Bobby (Elsie), Norma (Paul), Lorraine (Paul), Brenda (Norman), Carol (Bob), Annie (Eric), Diane (Danny), Gary (Carole), sisters-in-law: Margaret, Valerie (Lester), Bernadine (Terry), and brothers-in-law: Eric (Jane), Alan (MaryAnne), Roderick (Anno), Brian (Dawn). Many nieces, nephews and cousins whom she held dear. We would also like to thank all the staff at the Dr. Bliss Murphy cancer clinic who guided us along the way. Cremation has taken place.
