Obituary of Graham Haines
Passed peacefully away on Monday November 5, 2018 at Leonard A Miller Centre surrounded by his loving family, Graham (Douglas) Haines aged 70. Predeceased by his parents Frank and Annie Haines, siblings Frank, Elizabeth Diamond (Bill), James (Bernice) and Alfred, Parents in law Thomas and Mary Duggan, brothers in law William Duggan, Mark (Buster) Duggan, Ernest Fagan. Leaving to morn his loving wife Marion of 43 years, best friend and buddy son Doug (Tina), siblings Phyllis Warford (Charlie), Marguerite DeGruchy (Edwin), Reg (Mary), Les (Marg), Marion Kennedy (Eldred), Ruby Fagan, Herb (Marg), Linda Peach (Edgar), Marilyn Hale (Jim) and his youngest brother Ted who he adored. Sisters in law Joanne, Cathy and Josephine Duggan, Jeanette and Yvonne Haines, brothers in laws Jack and Tom (Sheila) Duggan, numerous nephews and nieces especially his side kick Emma Tilley and extended family and friends.
Graham was a talented craftsman who had a great love of hunting, fishing and gardening but his greatest love was family and children. He was often referred to as the "Kid Magnet". Graham was always willing to help those around him and did so with lots of patience and love.
The family would like to give thanks and appreciation to all who helped Graham in his battle, especially his extended family and friends for all their help, visits and kindness. Our gratitude to the staff at the Dr. H Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre, Dr. Matthew Andrews, Kelligrews Medical Clinic, Lawton's Drugs Kelligrews especially Nicole and Kristen, the staff of the palliative care unit of the Dr. Leonard Miller Centre and Public Health Nurse Jean Kielly.
At Graham's request, cremation has taken place. Resting at Hickey's Funeral Home, Kelligrews. Visitation Friday November 9, 2018 and Saturday November 10, 2018 from 2-9. Funeral will take place at 1:00 PM on Sunday November 11, 2018 at All Saints Anglican Church, Foxtrap.
