I had the good fortune to work with Walt for his entire career at Parts for Trucks and although I worked at Head Office in Halifax and didn't see Walt every day, each time we met or talked, it was always a pleasure. I can not think of a better example of Newfoundlanders at their best. Walt's energy, wit, good nature and willingness to help are legendary and not easily forgotten. My condolences to Walt's family and I trust his passing peacefully provides some comfort.
