Leo Buscaglia Although I am saddened that I wasn't able to make it for my Grandmother's funeral, I believe that she would understand why. She will no longer suffer and she is finally at peace most likely looking down at us, her loved ones, with my grandfather and her many precious cats(especally Cuddles). She never got the chance, but I think in her own way she was able to show us how important we all were to her. We may no longer see her but we’ll always have these special moments we shared with her. She will always have a special part in our hearts. Let’s just be thankful that we knew a special woman like my grandmother. She was a mother, a sister and a friend to all of us. I’m sure each and every one of you here has something to share on how my grandmother touched your life. She shared a lot of good memories. I am glad that she had the chance to see her great grandson, Tanner. She didn't even think she would be a grandmother, let alone be a great grandmother. She thought about him all the time. Even when she was sick, she still asked about him, even when she didn't know where she was. He was truly a great gift to her. What a positive outlook on life she had. With so many battles she had in her life, she still came through with courage and a smile. Finding a way to find a funny side of it. Everyone could see the strong will she had to live from the battle she fought. I send my deepest sorrow to my family during this time. A geat woman was lost but she is no longer suffering. I am sorry I couldn't be there. I will be there in spirit and I will think about her always. I wear her wedding band everyday. So when I look at it, it immediately reminds me of her smiling with Tanner. I miss you Nan, and I love you very much! Nicole Bown(Morgan)
