Mrs Smith and Family, We are so sorry to hear of Mr Smiths passing. Sending condolences too on behalf our Mom , Abbie . She and Dad always had a warm connection with both of you as neighbors and lifelong friends. Our entire family feels the loss of him as another Cherry Lane original. My own family too will remember him fondly. Always a gentleman and always smiling. He and Maurice became friends through my Dad and saw blades! Maurice would always walk over with the blades himself making sure he had time to stop for a chat. He was so welcoming and Maurice always came home lifted to have been in his company. The sharp blades were a side bonus. He is at sea today and thinking of him, as we all are, in friendship and sympathy. I know it’s life changing to lose your Dad but may your family links stay strong as you hold him close at heart.
