Catherine and I would like to extend our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Dave who we feel privileged to have become friends with during our time in Newfoundland. Although we are not there with you all in person today, we very much are with you in mind and spirit as we say our last goodbyes to a great man who enriched all our lives. The day before we left Paradise to move home to Cape Breton, Dave dropped in to say goodbye and bring Cathy some parting gifts. In my mind, I knew it was most likely a last goodbye as we all did. Dave was a true friend to us and always there to help with anything that came up, we’ll miss him a lot. Rest In Peace my friend and thanks for being part of our lives.
