It is with great sadness and sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Surrounded by loved ones, Elsie passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre on Saturday, March 16, 2019. She has been reunited with her husband Ernie (Ernest), her best friend and the love of her life for 48 years. Elsie was preceded in death by her mother Florence Taylor, father John Albert Taylor, father in law Hubert Fagan, sister in law Rosalind Butler. Elsie is survived by her devoted children Roxane Bowden (Pete), Rodney Fagan (Laura), and Kathy Fagan (Barry), and light of her life…her grandchildren Matthew Wall and Joann Wall. She is survived by her brothers Cecil (Teresa) Taylor, Ronald (Glenda) Taylor, sisters Linda (Ronnie) Hillier, Lorraine (Roy) Bonnell. Also leaving to mourn is her mother in law Hilda Fagan, brother in laws David (Joselyn) Fagan, Rick, Reginald (Nancy) Fagan and Clyde Butler, her sister in law Madonna Lawrence (Francis). She is mourned by a large circle of family, friends from Bayview Heights Manor and especially by her card buddy and best friend Jeanette Haines. The family would like to thank the nurses and doctors of 4NB who took special care of Elsie, especially Jennifer Fleming. The professionalism and compassion shown will never be forgotten. Visitation in the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Sunday from 7 pm - 9 pm, Monday from 2 pm - 4 pm & 7 pm - 9 pm. Funeral service will take place from All Saints Anglican Church, Foxtrap on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at 11 am. Interment in All Saints Anglican Cemetery, Dunn's Hill Road, Foxtrap.
