To Aunt Isobel, Kellie and Michelle, A person departs from this earth never truly leaves, for they are still alive in our hearts and minds, though us they live on. Cluney Family It has been many, many years since I grew up with the Cluney family but have thought about you often. My sincere condolences on the passing of Don. Thoughts and prayers are with you all at this difficult time.
Isobel and Family; Although, I haven't been in touch with Don since Toronto days (1967), I have nothing but good memories of the Cluney family. My connection was always through Marj. & Ron Dicks. Isabel and Family Words are inadequate to describe the sadness we feel in knowing Don is no longer with us. His passing will leave a big hole in your heart however with time you will be able to fill it with the memories of his laugh, stories and the love he had for all of you. Isobel and Family; I am shocked and saddened by the news of Don's passing. With a smile to lighten a room and a laugh to fill it, Don was, in my opinion, the true essence of a gentleman. With love of life and love of family, there is no doubt that Don will be missed. Know that in the weeks and days to come, know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. We will always remember Don and Isobel's kindness when Mom, Dad, Bill and I were stranded in Newfoundland and were taken in by Beverley and Bern Dalton. Don would take us out for a drive every day. We visited with both Don and Isobel in their home and enjoyed true Newfoundland hospitality. They even visited us once in Michigan. Don is truly missed... Dawn Laatz
