I met Keith as a player in the C.B.S. Masters Softball league quite a few years ago. The picture posted of his beaming smile is how I will always remember him. He was a gentleman on and off the field. I last saw Keith at Tim Horton's in Kelligrews when I dropped in on my duty day at work back in June. It was obvious he was ill, however he dropped over to my table and introduced me to his son. He spoke of his illness and his acceptance of what was to come. I will remember him fondly. My condolences to you, his family. So sorry for your loss! Rest in peace Keith!

Cathy, Mark, Daniel and Damien, I knew Keith through Terra Nova Sea Cadets....he was friends with my Dad Thomas and came to my Dad's wake and funeral in August of 2012. I was so glad to see him and so appreciative of his attendance there. Keith was very well respected and always had a smile and a laugh to share! Aunt Cathy, Mark, Daniel, Damien, Sorry to hear about Uncle Keith. A Dad to us all, always a smile on his face and couldn’t be happier to shake your hand and offer you a beer or something to eat. A happy, honourable man who accepted death on his own terms. I was lucky to see him one last time on Dave and Sharon’s deck in Chapel’s Cove watching the fog lift off the water. The sun started shining so we all grabbed Keith and plopped him in a reclining chair with a blanket and he asked for a drink of whisky. My mother Maureen and Aunt Sharon protested about his blood sugars and medication. Me, Keith and Dave laughed and made him a small drink. Keith said to me smiling sure if i died now from this then what odds. He seemed he couldn’t have been more content. I knew that would likely be the last time I saw him and I couldn’t have been luckier to catch him on a good day enjoying some sun with family and friends. Rest In Peace
