Jessie and family, Devastated to learn of Sid's illness and passing. Always a great guy. I have fond memories of Sid as my soccer coach when I was 15 and he was 17.... running Spruce Hill Road while Sid kept a watchful eye... from the seat of his motorcycle! Good times! I was pleased a few years ago when my daughter (Rebecca) also had the opportunity to experience Sid as a soccer coach. We both have very fond memories of the PEI trip. Heartbreaking news to wake up to this morning. I met Sid in kindergarten, and we were (mostly) classmates right through to grade eleven, back when you were high school sweethearts. Sid was always the first one to offer help if needed and our family was very lucky to have known him . We are so sad to hear that Sid has passed. He was so devoted to Jessie, Jeremy and Megan. I will always remember how much he did for the CBS Girl’s All Star soccer team - especially getting members of Canada’s Women’s Team to visit CBS and hold workshops for the players and the girl’s trip to PEI. He was definitely one of our girls biggest fan and supporter.
